Pictures of Prague

Prague is a photographer's paradise. I got so carried the way in the morning that my camera battery ran out... just in time for the sun to break, so most of the photos are a little grey. Still, this city lives up to its name.
The old City Hall's clock tower shown here comes to life on the hour when the twelve apostles pop out of the windows. Tourists gather around to see it. Then the clock crows.
The Czechs have really embraced tourism - nice and expensive shops are everywhere, including many toy stores - particularly marionettes - Pinnochio and Harry Potter especially.

Hi Lisa,
I am really enjoying the pictures of all the"old world" sites that you are seeing. Thanks for sharing. One photo shows what must be a walking bridge only. Is it a long way across the ??? River? How long will you be in Prague?

Its Charles Street Bridge from the 16th Century and its not very far but packed with tourists and buskers so its a slow walk.

Was there just two days and now in Vienna but will post more about Prague tomorrow.

Ilsa - where are you now? Its Chris, I'm in Mexico cleaning up after Hurricane John hit us hard, now preparing for another one and trying to set up a blog but am losing patience with my ineptitude.

I'm having trouble posting photos, well or anything really. Yours looks great, its a super idea really.
Hope you are still having fun - if you even find this comment?
